Third-generation Business Leader and Lifelong Resident
William Wentowski is a third-generation business leader and lifelong resident of the 48th District who understands the challenges and opportunities facing Alabama families and businesses. As Co-Owner and Marketing Director of BTS Technologies, a Homewood-based IT and cybersecurity firm, William has spent his career helping businesses navigate an increasingly complex and competitive environment. He knows what it takes to grow jobs, protect data, and keep operations running smoothly in today’s economy.
William is running for the Alabama House of Representatives to bring that same problem-solving mindset to Montgomery. His top priorities include:
- Making it easier to do business in Alabama by cutting red tape, modernizing regulations, and supporting entrepreneurs.
- Promoting child and maternal health through common-sense policies that ensure access to care and strong starts for every Alabama family.
- Strengthening education by investing in classrooms, empowering teachers, and ensuring students have the skills they need to succeed in a changing workforce.

Currently serves as the 2024–2025 President of the Rotary Club of Shades Valley, where he leads local service projects and civic engagement efforts.

A graduate of the University of Alabama, William also holds multiple industry certifications and is a licensed private pilot.

Jokes that he has “too many full-time hobbies” but none more important than his family and advocating for his community.
William and his wife, Alaina Pineda, have been married for eight years. They live in Vestavia Hills with their adorable daughter, Lydia, and their grouchy (but beloved) dog, Mila.
